Soft Loop
2024
Wood, Fabric, Mosaic Blocks, LED
120cm x 90cm x 40cm
When I was little, I used to imagine light as something alive — something that could float, breathe, and remember. Soft Loop comes from that same feeling. The structure is fragile, made from curved wooden strips and glowing lines that move like soft currents of air.
Tiny mosaic pieces are scattered across the transparent surface, like dust caught in sunlight. The light keeps changing — quiet, playful, a little unpredictable — and sometimes it reminds me of afternoons when I watched dust drift in front of a window.
A clear balloon form hovers at the top, as if it’s waiting to rise. The whole piece feels like a memory that never fully lands — looping gently, breathing on its own, like a small dream suspended in space.
