Inspired by the diversity of living forms, I merge characteristics of animals and plants to imagine a new species—one that blurs the boundaries between the organic and the fantastical.
By layering cloth onto the surface, I evoke the coarse, tactile quality of vegetation, grounding the work in a sense of materiality and growth.
The use of soft pastel tones introduces a dreamlike contrast—an otherworldly vision of a luminous plant thriving in the desert, an illusion of life where it shouldn’t exist.
